Karl per Chanel non mi piace. Troppo ancorato a quel concetto di bon ton vecchio di anni che puzza di muffa.
Qualche volta, però, non va così male.
Tipo questa volta.
Colore, tanto colore, colore che sembra pittura, un colore astrattista.
Ovviamente le solite giacche, i soliti pantaloni, i soliti stivali, ma con fantasie più fresche e giovanili.
Interessanti sono gli slogan sulle borse e sugli accessori, interessante è lo street style, interessante è lo stile militare, interessante è lo stile raffinato ma sbarazzino.
Ovviamente non ha nulla a che vedere con la precedente S/S 2014, quella era pura arte.
Però non è andata così male.
Eccezionale è stata la parata femminista alla fine. Di grande impatto, significativa, originale ed inaspettata.
Dai, Karl, hai fatto un buon lavoro, te lo meriti.
I don't like Karl for Chanel. Too attached to that concept of bon ton that is old and moldy.

Color, a lot of color, color that seems painting, an abstractionist color.
Obviously there are the usual jackets, the usual bags, the usual pants, the usual boots, but with fresher and youthful fantasies.
Interesting are the slogans on the bags and on the accessories, interesting is the street style, interesting is the military style, interesting is the refined but jaunty style.
Obviously it has nothing to do with the previous S/S 2014, that was pure art.
But it's not so bad.
Excellent was the feminist parade at the end of the show. Great impact, significant, original and unexpected.
Come on, Karl, you've done a good job, you deserve it.
Sia ben chiaro, questo non è Alexander McQueen. O, almeno, io non lo reputo tale.
McQueen era grottesco, ricco, oscuro e romantico. Di tutte queste qualità, davvero poco è rimasto dopo la sua morte.
Sarah Burton è riuscita per qualche tempo a tenere testa al marchio, proponendo abiti dal taglio più femminile ma comunque gustosamente McQueen. Adesso, invece, sembra voler rivoluzionare un marchio rendendolo diverso da ciò che era alle sue origini.
Non posso dire che questa collezione sia brutta: le maschere sulle facce delle modelle sono inquietanti, le stampe a fiori molto giappo sono belle, ed anche le linee sono interessanti.
Okay, carino, ma non è Alexander McQueen.
In compenso le scarpe sono, come al solito, fighissime.
Let's make it clear, this is not Alexander McQueen. Or, at least, I don't consider it as McQueen.
McQueen was grothesque, rich, dark and romantic. Of all these qualities, only a little has remained after his death.
Sarah Burton succeded for some time to do something cool, proposing dresses with a more feminine shape but purely McQueen anyway. Now, instead, it seems she's trying to revolutionize a brand making it different from what it was before.
I can't say this collection is bad: the masks on the face of the models are disturbing, the japanesque flower prints are beautiful, and the lines and the cuts are interesting too.
Okay, cute, but it's not McQueen.
At least the shoes are super cool.
