Versace RTW S/S 2015

Donatella è un po' come Karl per me: a volte fa collezioni splendide (la F/W con tonnellate di vinile e borchie era un puro e semplice orgasmo visivo), a volte no.
E questa volta è una di quelle volte che no.
Non so cosa ci sia di sbagliato in questa collezione.
Voglio dire, è carina. Gioca molto con materiali lucidi e riflettenti: paillettes, maglie in strass, plastica. Il risultato è molto patinato ed anche molto femminile.
Le linee sono pulite ed essenziali, ed infatti la ricchezza tradizionale di questo marchio in questa collezione è proprio data dai tessuti riflettenti di cui parlavo prima.
In questa collezione manca qualcosa. La verve, il carattere. Tutto quanto è okay, ma manca di vibrazioni, di elettricità. Manca di quel qualcosa che ti fa dire "OH MIO DIO, VOGLIO TUTTO!".
Una cosa che ho detestato è stato il cinto di molte gonne e pantaloni, che riprendono l'elastico degli slip da uomo di Versace. No, per favore no.
Invece gli accessori li ho trovati azzeccati: il lasercut (trend di questa stagione, Fendi docet) praticato nelle borse Signature e negli stivali è meraviglioso, così come è molto bello il completo che indossa Mariacarla Boscono. I tacchi in plexiglas li ho trovati particolari ed in linea con il concetto di trasparenza della collezione.
Di contro, però, alcuni pezzi ricordavano il lavoro svolto per Versus con Anthony Vaccarello.
Non lo so, Donatella. Troppo poco rock in questa collezione, e sappiamo tutti quanti che muori dalla voglia di mettere un po' di pelle e borchie da qualche parte.

Donatella is like Karl for me: sometimes she makes gorgeous collections (the F/W with touns of vinyl and studs was a pure and simple visual orgasm), sometimes not.
And this time is one of the "not" ones.
I don't know what's wrong with this collection.
I mean, it's cute.It plays a lot with glossy and reflective materials: sequins, strass mesh, plastic.
The result is very polished and very feminine too.
The lines are clean and essential, in fact the typical boldness of Versace in this collection is given by the materials I talked about before.
Something misses in this collection. The verve, the attitude. Everything is okay, but it misses vibes, electricity. It misses that something that makes you say "OMG I WANT EVERYTHING!".
One thing I hated is the truss of some skirts and trousers, that are the same of the elastic bands of Versace male slips. No, please no.
The accessories, instead, are beautiful: the lasercut (trend of this season, FEndi docet) on the Signature bags and on the boots is very cool, and the lasercut outfit that Mariacarla Boscono wears on the runway is amazing. The plexiglas heels are particular and in line with the concept of transparency of this collection.
Otherwise some pieces remind me of the work Donatella did for Versus with Anthony Vaccarello.
I don't know, Donatella. Too little rock'n'roll in this season, and everybody knows you want so bad to put some leather and studs somewhere!
